shock problem

i was replacing the struts and i compressed the spring as far as the spring compresor would go and the ends of the spring still wouldnt come out of the ends. What am i doing wrong??

Try to pull the strut rod up

Before compressin, the compressor tool locations has to me maxed out. I had to use ein bisschen The Hammer to get em in on opposite sides, outmost position.
