Please help this confused Maxima owner....
Ok...I am confused...Do our cars, 1990 SE , have struts or shocks ?? I am very confused by this...I know I seem stupid, but any help would be appreciated
Also, I want to upgrade...Eibach/KYB is what i am thinking of...I know Tokio and Koni are better, but I cant afford them. Is this a good set up , I want my car to handle better, but I dont want to be feeling every pebble on the road...Again any help would be great....I tried a search, but couldnt find the answers I was looking for.....

We've got struts on our cars.. many people call them shocks just because that's what used to be on everything.. either wya, you'll get what you need if you order struts/shocks for a maxima.
As for the KYB issue, those are fine from what I've heard.. they aren't quite as firm as the Tokico, and they don't last quite as long, but if you're not looking to have them last another 8 years like your stock ones, then don't worry about it.
Get you some Eibachs and KYBs and drive away happy.

I found the KYB's on TireRack.com, for $52 for the front left and right ( each ) and $37 for the rear...Is this a good price ? And also if someone could take a quick look and see if this is actually the right stuff for my car...that would be great..
