continued

parts.....cefiro headlights, tokico struts all around, brembo cross drilled/slotted rotors, complete pace setter exhaust with monza muffler (i forgot to pull the CAT out for this picture)

my RED deck, freshly painted with interior/vinyl paint that actually fuzes with the plastic (so as not to chip off like spray paint) impressive really. It has since been repainted, and doesnt look as ghetto as this pic....as well as the vinyl insert above it, and the plastic around the shifter.

Your car looks good! I've heard some bad things about pacesetter though, namely of its cheap build quality. Are you planning on painting the rest of the dash?

Dang, why bother with any performance mods when you have 600 lbs in the trunk...

It looks nice. I like those wheels, they are different and clean. Personally, I would ditch the red paint on the dash and windshield wipers, but that's just personal choice.

Oh, and thank you for serving your country. I hope you have a good Veteran's Day and realize that what you do is important and essential.

thanks everyone glad and proud to be back!

my main theme is red and black....gonna be kinda car-show-ing in the near future, so not only do i liek the colors....it will accentuate the interior design, etc.

Yes i plan on painting alot of the pop-off parts of the car........such as the defrost vents (front and side)....window button and door handle 'bezel' and many other parts...if you doubt me...trust me, it's going to look good, i promise...im not ghetto like alot of people, i do it right.

yeah, thats alot of bump in the trunk, and it only weighs 350 lbs
once i get it working fully, and get it out of the temporary boxes and into custom fiberglass, it will sound and look better, and weigh less

I must know, where did you get those headlights?

i got the headlights from a private seller on ebay it cost me 71 bucks for the lights, and 25 shipping...not bad in my opinion, considering theyre not scratched or anything....although one of them is missing one of the waterproof boots on the rear of one of the lights, and the wires for one of the lamps has hairline fraying, but nothing a little tape or new wire wouldnt solve

Yeah, what's the word on those headlights? I'd love to get a set. Are those for 3rd gen's? Lemme know how the pacesetter headers fit/work out.

Oh, and much props for your service to this awesome country!

thanks dillbag....and it seems i just beat you to the punch on asking me about the headlights but yeah...they're not direct fit, thats for sure...they're like 4 inches (?) wider than the stock headlights. They're headlights from a 1992 A31 Cefiro....apparently thats the Japanese version of the maxima, if my memory is correct ;x
Cant wait to get them installed thanks for the props, and im glad im back

I remember someone a while back installed those headlights and they don't fit right.

I am sure they could be made to with some fabrication/modification. Or, maybe if you use the Wade covers and McGyver is somehow behind there.

interesting system...(though if you're planning to show the car, i'd suggest getting some more reputable company than volfenhag)

and glad you came back home safely...

You will love them. I am now putting the set I had in my max into my sunbird. Installation is gonna be a PITA with the dremel as you're only gonna use like 100 heavy duty disks to cut the sheet metal and corner light bracket.

My max before she got parted and junked with the cefiro's.

Gotta know how to fiberglass as the gaps are like 1" from the top and the corner light to the headlight doesn't quite match up.

I could have easily fixed the gap but when you are lifeguarding 60 hours a week and with me being a head guard I had to do the OT I really had no time to finish them but they worked out well and people high beam you when you use your lows as their headlights suck.
