its back running and wow! 16psi
Well I got it almost broke in now. I redone the top end with ported heads and intake manifolds. Then I stuffed some custom isky turbo cams in. Well I went 13.6 on 11psi back in the spring of this year. Well now I can go through 1st nice and easy and then shift to second Start at about 2000rpms then go about 75% throttle (show on the safc 2) and by the time I get to 4500rpms the tires just start to roast. They start to break traction at about 45 to 50mph. So I know first would just be a roast. But im going to get some tires soon. Im going to dyno tune in about a week. Im hoping to see about 375whp. Im hoping to maybe go mid to high 12's with this car but we will have to wait to see. Third gear in dam near a neck breaker. I can start out in third and punch it and it just rip you into the seat.
Gotta love it! Keep it up and keep us posted on those 1/4 mile times!
*Edit* I see you are only a lot over 2 hours away from the Fayetteville drag strip! You will see that is going to be the fastest track you can probably run at near you. I've raced at a lot of tracks and Fayetteville has their mess together! It's only about 150 feet above sea level and it's always yielded the best times for me in the past several years I've been drag racing my Maxima. The track prep is the best I've seen other than Las Vegas on a true NHRA event. They even prep the track on normal TnTs! If you are interested sometime this winter, we can meet in Fayetteville and see what your car can do. I will be there busting 13s all motor. It's about 1.5 hours from me. So it's about half way. The track is only about 5 minutes from I-95. Let me know if you are considering going out there on a cold day.

I know who I'll be calling for another ride the next time I'm in Orangeburg. It's good to see you improving on something you already had going. I haven't been reading your progress prior to this set-up, what dyno numbers were you getting before?

sounds good man! don't blow it up before you tune it!!
and I'd also highly recommend reinforcing your engine crossmember if you haven't already.
I broke two of them with an N/A motor and only 190ft lb!!

Mike those numbers were IIRC 258whp and like 341lb Torque at 10 psi with no port work or cams and a bad knock sensor
I won'y lie that is impressive if you do hit 12's even 13's are good!. I just hate when people think because they get some HONDA and a CAI with a muffler they can run 10's. This just proves how much work needs to be done to get #'s like that. make sure to keep us posted

they are regrind set up for boost and my car. As soon as I find my cell phone ill give you their number. it was like 240.00 to get them done. they feel nice but everthing does when you are boosted.
Here,
http://www.iskycams.com/
Be ready to have your car down for ~10days - two weeks, cause you'll have to get your old cams out, send those to them for the regrind.
As for the JWT, they sell you new cams, so minimum down time.
