Big freeking hose w banjo fitting??????

Ok, I've looked through the Chilton, and Alldatadiy, obviously I'm not looking in the right place. There is a big hose with a banjo type fitting on the pass side all the way up by the windsheild. What the heck is it? PS? Brake? I'm only asking because mine is leaking, rather badly. Help.

Thanks, I thought so, but there was no info on the places I looked for it. Mine is leaking BADLY, How difficult would it be to replace it??? Seems like it would be pretty straight forward. Remove, replace, refill, blah, blah, blah.

it is pretty easu to do. mine had a pin hole in it near the fitting. never noticed it till i had the hood up,car running and bumped the steering wheel to see fluid fly out. i dont think it took to long to do and it was pretty easy

It's pretty easy to replace...You need a 24mm close end wrench to make it the easier to get to the bottom bolt, not much room down there...

Mine ate through the tie rod boot, and ate the valve stem on the tire, causing me to blow a tire.

Is the hose OEM or available at Auto Zone? Yea...mine's leaking too. 24MM wrench costs a pretty penny I bet.

The wrench would be about $10-$20 depending where you get it..

I would get the hose from internetautomart..[org member]
