Headlights for a 3rd gen

Are there any conversions to turn our headlights into two lights, similar to these?

Thanks

Have you cleaned out your PM box lately?

I always enjoy writing out a PM, only to have it DENIED because your box is full, then having to cut and paste it and send it on NWMax

I will try to send a PM on another topic in a bit.

I would imagine it's very similiar to the regular E36 wiring. Nothing 10 or 12 Gauge shouldnt be able to handle.

These work and look great with blacked out corners or smoked.

The fit just like any e36. You can change the color of the halos just by buying 944 bulbs. The lows and high have a great beam pattern.

Thats because when you pull it back thats our "flashing" position not the high beam position.

For high beam push the lever toward the front of the car.

Say a plug and play type of thing?

Nope. Unfortunately, it's cut, bang, shove and play.

If you can wire a harness, swing a baby sledge and use a cutoff wheel your golden. This is not hard to do.

if u can't cut, can't do ****, if u can pay, you can always play!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nissa...16413714QQrdZ1

i saw this a few weeks ago. it's cheaper than buying a dremel if u don't already have one.

I'd buy this. Can someone vouch for it? Is it as simple as the description says?

You still gotta cut as they go a little deeper than stock headlights.

stock housing
- glass
+ projector
+ wade cover
+ sealed
=
I wish I would have done it years ago

even if you just use a halogen bulb in a projector, it is insanely better than reflectors in every aspect. I would rather have a halogen's in a projector than a HID's using a reflector.

So according to your "equation" , I should be able to take a set of headlights from a junkyard, or a parts car, remove the glass, replace with the wade cover and seal, THEN will they bolt on?

BTW, the part in bold above seems like it might be a lot easier said than actually done.

so you would need e36 headlights and wade cover to make them look flush, does any cutting need to be done to get the lights to fit in , or are they pretty much the same size as the stock ones?

well, remove the stock glass lens
install a projector into the stock housing (this is where you will probably get creative)
then throw a wade cover on because the stock glass lens is rippled and will completely nullify installing the projector.
seal it to prevent water and moisture from entering/forming inside the headlights.
Then you just bolt the headlight assembly in like factory. Just make sure you allign the projectors straight (from left to right). You can use the factory adjustment for height.

lots of work

I personally don't like the look of the E36 lights in the Maxima. The only reason I would use them is if I didn't use bi-xenon (high/low) projectors in the stock housing. If I were to use E36 lights they would have to be retrofitted with projectors, but that's just me.

Are you on projector e36's or non projector. The projectors go deeper in and are a little taller so they require a tad bit of cutting.
