5-speed update

Some of you may remember a few days ago when I posted a thread about my slave cylinder blowing out. (That thread was promptly hijacked, thus this new one). Well the new slave didnt fix the problem, leading my to conclude either the TO bearing or clutch had blown up. When I pulled the trans, I was surprised to find it was the TO bearing (with only 6k miles on it) and not my 130k clutch!
Yes, I bought an autozone TO bearing knowing their poor quality but since I was in a rush and need it right away, I figured it would hold out for atleast 20k miles. WRONG. Here is a picture of my TO bearing with 6k miles on it!

It maybe hard to tell in this picture but the TO bearing also cut into the fork which i was able to grind down and reuse.

Now that the trans is broken in and out of the car, time to get serious. (spec stage 3)

You know I would have helped you with that yesterday if I would have heard from you...

Glad to see that the problem wasn't too expensive to fix, gotta love those Autozone parts

So do you think that clutch will be able to hold all that power your putting down with your VG?

Spec stage 3 has very aggressive (carbon semi-metallic) pads which grab easily WITHOUT a heavy pressure plate. Therefore, the pedal pressure is just about stock, which makes modulation easy. Trust me, its a very streetable clutch.
