Digital re-set?

I have a dead digital dash with 164,000 Kilometer's on it. I want to purchase one that works in the winter. I found a good one, but it has 169 Miles on it! Is there a way to put the actual km's that my car has on it into this one?
Thanks

I am not totally sure, but there should be a flash or CMOS chip inside, that keeps the counter. De- and re-soldering this chip should transfer your mileage.

Really!?! Any Idea which one? I would greatly appreciate this, because I definatly would like to have 164k km' instead of 190k Miles!
Pictures?
Thanks

To tell you that, I'd need a good digital picture of the digital cluster PCB, such as to show the IC model numbers (if I was correct in the assumption that the memory IC is on the cluster's PCB). I might be totally wrong and it might be somewhere else, for example if the digital dash cars had different ECU, than the mileage could have been stored there. I simply have no idea, sorry.
