VE Electrical expert?

The power for the VTC's come from the fuse box in the dash, the same 12v power is used for the consult connector as well as a bunch of other solenoids etc. The ECU is the switched ground. I dont remember exactly what fuse it is though.

Well, I did eventually figure this out, after replacing and alternator, I found that there is a 10-Amp dash fuse for the ECU that had blown.
A damn fuse, after chasing my tail for 2 days

If it makes you feel better, My friend had an 89 300ZX sitting inop in his front yard for 2 years replacing this and that and it still wouldn't start. After 2 years he realized the positive wasn't hooked up on his fuel pump... Car worked just fine.

What could have cause this fuse to blow?? I am glade that I didnt have to spend on the 100+labor replacement, money that I currently have to spare at the moment.

Been there... some good advice I got: when looking for a problem (especially electrical), check the easiest possibilites first (fuses etc.). Sounds easy, but for some reason, easier said than done.
