Woohoo!! Disc brakes will be on this weekend!
I have the brakes in a box in my car right now.. I even picked up 2 sets of pads and an extra MAF, just in case anyone needs one. (the guy didn't know what it was
or how much it was worth, so I grabbed it.)
the pads & rotors on the car I tore apart were almost brand new (90% left on the Nissan pads).. the rotors are covered in rust right now because they were in the
trunk of the car, but you can still see the grooves in the rotors from where they were originally machined. once I hit them with naval jelly and paint the non-friction
surfaces with high-temp black/silver, they'll look great!
the calipers are nasty looking, as they've got paint pen marks all over them, but I'll be fine there. brake cleaner and silver paint will solve most of that problem.
If anyone else is trying this and plans on doing anything to your exhaust, now is a good time to do it, as changing the parking brake cable (required because the
ends are different) necessitates removal of the entire exhaust from Cat back. (GRRRRR)
Whenever Kaleb gets here this weekend, I'll get some pics and install info/directions done.

Matt,
Congrats on the conversion. That usually costs big bucks right? I thought it was "said" that it was too much trouble, and not worth the hassle, but if it works let me know... Also are you going to find some steel braided lines? If so please tell me where I can find some. Thanks. Good luck to you and Kaleb.
