That little cylinder on the left side of the steering wheel column is completely broken now. First it started with the blinkers not turning off when I turned.. then up to my lights turning on for no reason is set on off ocasionally becuase something wasn't connecting right.. I jiggled it kind of hard, and now it doesn't even work to turn on the lights/brights/ anything besides blinkers.

I'm going to take apart the bottom of the steering wheel tommorrow to find out which piece I need, but does anyone know what it is called, and whether autozone would sell it? I can't drive at night anymore until I can get it fixed - it's the the stick thats broken, but whatever it connectes into that allows you to turn on/of the lights....

 

it's called a headlight switch
Buy one used unless you have a spare 100 ish floating around

Hey, does this also go by the name combination switch? Called the only junk yard I can find open - $45 for it!

 

Just look at it and does it have turn signal arrows on it? and pictures of lights on it. I've never heard of combination switch. If you want I have a used turn signal/ headlight switch for $30.
