can someone tell me where the PCV valve is located in the vg30e engine

upper right of upper intake manifold. there's a black hose connected to it. the other end is screwed into the manifold itself. it's probably pretty rusty by now.

 

yea thats where i thought it would be but i cant take off the hose. and do i use an open wrench to take it off?

 

well slide the clamp down a bit..then take your wrench and unscrew it a little...doing that will break the seal with the rubber hose and then you can probably pull the hose off. then finish unscrewing the rest of it out.

open or closed...your call on that one. whatever you do..don't strip it.

 

i think i stripped it a little.......

o and can i take the hose off completely before taking off the pcv valve

 

nevermind i was trying to take of the wrong one. i unscrewed it from the intake manifold but now i just cant get the pcv valve out cause its so rusty.....
