Hey, what's up? I was just wondering if anyone knew how many horses a 1999 Mustang had. So if you do could you please tell me?

 

1999 mustang what? GT? Cobra? V6? All three of these would probably beat a 90 vg maxima is that is what you are wondering. A 5-sp 90 se maxima might be close w/ a V6 mustang auto convertible.

 

You still never told me what a 1999 Mustang has. I never said a GT or a Cobra. Just a normal 1999 Mustang......Oh yeah what do you mean by 90 vg maxima?

Normal = v6 about 190hp-200hp I think.

90 vg maxima = maxima equipped w/ the vg30 engine. Like the one installed in your car right now.

 

Some more dumb questions......Is there anything lower than a 1999 V6 Mustang? If so how much hp. Also do you have a VE in your maxima? What is the difference in a vg & a ve?

 

No, V6 mustang in 1999 is the lowest engine avaiable.

VE=190 hp VG=160 hp.

this is just basic info, but VG=160hp & VE=190hp there are more differences between the teo engine designs as well. and yes Jeff has a VE.....

V6 is lowest model in 1999, the whole Mustang thing is crazy everything from 5.0s(1995 and earlier I think) to 3.8s to the 4.6 liter engines. HPs varied, your best bet is to go to corral.net and look around for the exact answers.

 

Dont bother racing any stangs. I had my run with a 1999 stang V6 i had to dump the clutch at 5000 rpm to beat him, but as soon as switched to 2nd gear he beat me, so thet 1 sec was fun, when i passed him. :smile:

Not burned, i mean he was about a half a car ahead of me. I dont know what he had or if it was 5spd or auto, I know its a V6 because of the single exhaust.
