Today I reached my 1K after my tranny rebuild and decided to got WOT a few times. One thing to say "I was very impressed" with the VB I currently have which is NOT, I repeat NOT a Don's VB. I did WOT runs from a stand still and from hwy cruising speeds. The 2-3 shift flooring it from cruising in 4th feels awesome, I swear it made me head snap back but I will definately do it a few more times to make sure. Granted I did install a tranny cooler this weekend which could have had a play in the performance. Anyway here it is, recently some of you might have known that Don was doing a GD on his VB's on the .Org and I got in on the deal. I had a spare VB I sent to him which he completely disassembled, did his magic and re-assembled. He has yet to return my VB due to the weather in the Houston area, floods. He has been extremely busy, but he says it should be out by Fri June 15. The GD final price was $375 from his usuall $450, this is what I might be willing to offer to someone. I might be willing to sell his VB "which will not be installed in my car, basically new used" for anyone who wants it. I will sell it for $25 LESS than what I paid for it.
$350 for VB
$ 25 for shipping and insurance
$125 for core charge
$500 total
I understand that most dont have $500 laying around so we can probably work something out on the core charge, but the cost for the VB and shipping if FIRM, I repeat FIRM. For those who may not know, this VB will only fit 92-94SE with the RE4FO4V trannies. This is all I can think of for know, but I will update in the future. Thanks MIKE

Of course this doesn't reflect on the integrity of Don's VB, this only opens the door for other mods which I can spend the money on. Besides my VTC starting to go click, click and I might be looking into a second hand car so I can dis-assemble my VE and still get to work
