just go out and buy the fidanza flywheel...... it will still be lighrter than the stock one.. you really wont be able to lighten it too much without weakening it (i think)

From what I've heard, the most you can take off is about 2 lbs from the stock one, which is ~19 lbs. Fidanza is 9 lbs. The Unorthodox one is 5 lbs, but drivability really suffers. Probably would make some difference, but not really that much.

I don't think it would make enough difference to be worth the money. Just save up for a Fidanza. Driving with one is like driving a totally different car. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it makes things a lot more fun.

FWIW, I took my car to a tire store back in the fall to get new tires and had them replace a broken stud. The tire shop is a ways away from the suspension shop (where they replaced the stud) and the manager drove it from one to the other. He told me he killed it several times trying to get it moving. He said it was the second toughest clutch he has tried to drive. Then, he told me that he had never seen a V6 car rev so quickly.

no the nsx is a peice of crap, and s2000 is good, not enough room, an nsx is an over rated over prices too long bad handling peice of crap!
only kids who play gran turismo on there playstation want one or they they are "way cool"
they are very common where i live, there are about 6 here, ive drivin 1, and rode in about 3. They arent all they are cracked up to be.
Id rather rock a WRX STi anyday!! it would crush an nsx.
http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html
look at the nsx 1/4 time compared to the new wrx sti.
Honda = crap
vtec - virtually torqules economy car
acura is crap also, wich is the same as honda.

wrx sti, ae86 gts, sr20det swapped 240sx, 280zx, tt 300zx, 3g maxima with vq swap or boosted,
those are my choice in cars.
screw any honda!
i know there are some fast gsr boosted swapped hatches, and some fast k series swapped hatched, but they just get old.
Every girl wants a honda or an acura for there first car, I dont want a chick car.

I don't wanna go off topic on your amazing flywheel thread, but just wanna add my final .02 cents. Uumm, The NSX handles bad? Did I hear that right? You have to be kidding me, right? Somebody who says that proves they really don't know anything about cars. I don't care who you are, you just don't say an NSX handles bad and is a peice of crap when it was specifically crafted and built for the exact oppisate. They are built on a factory dedicated to them, and only a handful of the best Honda techs get to craft them pretty much by hand. I wouldn't call that overpriced at all. You post a link where supposedly a WRX owns an NSX, while in that same link it's the other way around? What are you trying to prove here?

2006 Subaru WRX STI 4.5 13.0 MT Dec '05)
2001 Acura NSX V6 4.5 12.9 (C&D TV 2001)

Thats not even the NSX-R above. Can you imagine what that can do? Seen the latest Sport Compact Car issue? "New vs Old"? Where they take all the top jap sports cars of the 90's and pit them against modern day cars? They were all a bit modified, and wanna guess who came out on top at the road course beating the new STi and Evo? You'd be very wrong. Now look below into my link and tell me if you still think the NSX sucks. Im not wasting my typing on you again if you choose to disagree, it would be a waste. You obviosly have issues then.

Pretty big works when a bone stock Integra GSR would slap your VG powered maxima up/down/sideways/upsidedown/parallel and perpendicular all day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

Please get your ignorant JDM Fast and Furious notions out of your narrow little mind and join the rest of us in reality world.

And speaking of reality, if you don't have $350 for pony up for a Fidanza, you can't even afford the cars you referring to. So why even bring it up?

Dont take this personal but....

Honda = crap
vtec - virtually torqules economy car
acura is crap also, wich is the same as honda.

My 91 Accord has 180K with the ORIGINAL engine and tranmission (TIMING BELT REPLCED TWICE). I get about 30 miles per gallon on the highway and about 26-27 in the city. It's the ONLY car I've ever owned that just needs gas to go. I can skip oil changes for 7k miles and it still runs SUPERB.
My 97 Maxima SE auto with VLSD and 108K has a special chip in the ECU that says GAS IS FREE. It gives gives me about 19 mpg city and 24 on the highway.Also, the moment I decide to utilise that torque and endless power, I can literally see the gas needle MOVING. Dont ask about the things I've replaced to get a better mileage (IT'S TOO LONG).
MY 93 SE Aztec Red 5 speed 107K needs a replacement engine RIGHT NOW. The VTC assembly broke, the car jumped timing, the sprockets,timing chain and valves are NO GOOD. Talk about RELIABILITY.
MY 2000 I30 is a sweet ride but costly to maintain.
BTW I can STILL do 120 MPH on the highway with all the "overweight" people in the world in the CRAPPY HONDA. Give me that cheap reliable PIECE of crap ANYDAY and all I'll need is gas money.
Just a side note...I dont hate, dislike or resent Nissans but my personal experiences with Hondas have been nothing but EXCELLENT, barring the fact that people are ALWAYS breaking into it (AT LEAST MINE). Do some more research and you will learn that at the NSX was an engineering masterPEICE when it debuted (KNOW THAT THE I COMES BEFORE THE E). To say Hondas are crap when they CLEARLY outsell NISSANS here in N.A is saying the masses are dumb. Chick cars? Your MAX with those yellow fogs aint look like a pimpmobile.
Like Michael said, you dont have to HATE other cars to love YOURS.
Lastly, for a person that doesnt know whether YOU should have yellow or clear fogs on YOUR car surely leaves room for thought.
