QUestion on Shifter in general.

QUestion on Shifter in general.

My friend has a integra and his shifter is extremely loose. he can pull it up and down and its hard to find nuetral. any clue what it could be? i own an automatic so i dont know ><. sorry its not about a maxima but i figured it could happen to all standard cars.

Well the problem is I am not sure how the Integra is made BUT I know on a Maxima when that happens its because the rubber support piece that the shifter sits on has broken.

I have read about a couple of people that had it happen to them on here and when I got my new to me 93 recently it had that problem.
