how do i fix a leak coming from my winshield washer fluid?

I had a small leak somewhere leaking where windshield fluid is leaking out. Anystuff I can pour down to clog leak or what should I so. I see the fluid is leaking just in front of front drivers side tire and onto the shield thing and finally rolling of the side of my kit I believe. I am selling my car so I am getting it into tip top shape.

Um buy another fluid resevoir or find which line is leaking and replace that. Even if you bought everthing, it MIGHT cost $20.

Or a bone yard. The lines might be an store thing. But really, how hard is it to find the leak? It's only a container, pump and lines. And there's only about 1300 3-gens parting out in the classifieds.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the washer fluid resevoir in front of the passenger side front tire?
Are you sure it's washer fluid and not antifreeze? Cause a loose radiator drain or lower rad hose/clamp issues could drop fluid from the drivers side. Could also be that you just got the car really hot and a little antifreeze came out the overflow tube (also on the drivers side).
Take the shields off and inspect.

I had a leak on my 93 auto. When I poured fluid in it went right to the ground pretty much.

What I found was the hose that connects to it was broken. So take your fender liner out and look under there. It may be simple as the hose has broken or come off.

If its the container itself and cant find them at a junk yard I know i have a couple that are good I can sell for cheap.

You are very correct. I wasn't thinking when I wrote that (at work ftl). I thought radiator fluid too, but it is just simply water. I will check what you guys said asap.

Why not use plastic tank repair ??
It costs about 4 bucks from your local hardware store and fixes everything right up !!

It's a putty you mix up and "Kneed the putty" and it gets hot and very sticky (Wear gloves) and you place the putty over the hole, It glues itself to the plastic surface and pluggs the hole. I have used it on my focus to plug a hole in the coolant tank, Works great !!
