The temperature selector is stuck on my girlfriend's 92 SE. It will not move fully to the "cold" position. Has anyone had this problem? What is the fix? It is also stubborn moving the the full "heat" position.

Thanks.

Yes Bryan. It was addressed not too long ago.

BTW, did you get a chance to check the coolant temp. sensor on your VG? Please confirm that it is a red and yellow connector.

AC/heater control stuck

I had the same problem recently and the arm eventually broke. I got an estimate for replacement of the AC/Heater control box in the dash, $400- $200 for the box and $200 for labor!); so I went to a used auto parts store and got the box myself for $50 bucks and then installed it myself, it was a pain in the *** and i can tell you the most difficult part was pulling the box out far enough to detach the electrical plugs and the manual cables and then installing the "new" box and the manual cables. However, I have never removed the dash before and was able to do the whole job in two hours, take your time and be patient, you have to remove the center panel first which involve removing the panel around the shift lever, remove the radio, remove the glove box, and easing the box out, through a limited opening, i found the ac/ heater controller unit throught this web site which should give you some local places that have it, but you can around your area to the usual places http://www.car-part.com/

Thanks. I have a line on one for $30. It's one I pulled from a junk yard. And yes, it was a pain in the butt. I had to literally pry the connectors off the back. The cables were stubborn too. I'm glad someone else was able to put it back on though. Thanks for your post.
