Anybody in the Seattle WA area play cat and mouse with a black max

I got stuck picking up a friend in Seattle tonight (last night) and when i was leaving on I-90 i passed a fellow 3rd gen owner when he blew by me, we played a little cat and mouse but I'm not going to do it for to long on wet roads. From the looks of it it's a blue SE. Could swear I've seen it on this forum. Plates ended in like "PEZ" Just giving you props you beat me far and square but i would like a rematch when i get my car running 100%

Off the subject anybody in the Northwest down for a Maxima Rally this summer. I think it would be cool to see what kind of stuff people are doing with there Max's and what direction they are heading with it (custom or stock)

Check the regional forums, don't talk about illegal racing.

If it's who I think it is, you don't want to try to run him or outbrake him . Did it look 100% stock?

Wow.. lots of guys in WA, but it wasn't me.. lol, even though I don't even own a Maxima. We should get a Nissan-meet-up started up for WA.

Unless you find more guys on the east side to have a Spokane meet, all of the meets are going to be on the opposite side of the state. I live in eastern Oregon and I pretty much have the same scenario. I drive 4 hours to get to Seattle, which is about the same for you. Just get your azz up early and drive.

it wouldn't be so bad if the a meets are in the after noon say 2 or 3 but a 11am meet well odds are i would be barely waking up by then.

also that meet is on mothers day and if i feel like sleeping in my own bed i won't go! plus i have to work on Sundays so if i took the day off for the meet lets say i might have to find out exactly how comfortable it is to sleep in the max... no thanks

I'm 5'10" and find that the max is remarkably comfortable. I can lay a sleeping bag out in the back seat no problem. Set the alarm clock on the center console and you're good to go. If you're any taller than me you may start running into problems though.

they changed the date to June 4.

Mother's Day is on May 14.

Blackwind didn't realize it was Mother's Day when he first posted that up.

if it is June 4 which is not a important day and if the meet can be in the afternoon I'll make it but if it's in the morning highly doubt it unless someone in the area wants to put me up for the night on SAT. But since i don't know any of you guys that well I wouldn't feel comfortable with that. Is it a open meet for all Nissan or only Max's?

If no one can put you up, and you are that much of a night owl, just go to hotwire and get a hotel for around $40 on Saturday night. I use it all the time and I get decent hotels for <$50. I stayed at the Red Lion in Portland (by the Convention Center) for my birthday and it cost my wife just a touch over $50 with taxes and everything. Every time my son has a doctor appointment early, we get a hotel. I have scored some for <$40, including Courtyard by Marriott and the Hampton Inn, which had FREE BEER in the TV room like from 5-8 p.m.

For $35-$40 you aren't going to stay at the Hilton, but it will be a bed, a shower and a TV. Keep your expectations low, then sometimes you get lucky and it's nicer than you thought.

When there was a meet down here in Portland, about half a dozen guys or so stayed at a hotel near the Portland Airport.
