I was changing out the Oil Filter yesterday, and I saw a hose dangling from the transmisson and it's connected to this area . Is it a vaccum hose or venting hose for the transmisson? Thanks

It's the vent hose and doesn't hook up to anything.

Yeah, don't worry about it. Just there to let the heat/fumes out.
