I have torn apart John Deere Motors and CAT Motors that used the same thing. (It was also a ploy to keep shade tree mechanics away.
I also start my tear down next weekend.
My new truck should be here Tuesday, and I'm taking the Max in Friday to have the R-12 evacuated.

less that 5 bucks for a socket w the correct allen key on it. the fuel rail is also secured w an allen key. have fun taking just # 3 out. and dont get discouraged when it doesnt run right due to a vacumn leak. it's the joy of learning.
no reason to get up on here and start b!tchin and moanin over a situation like this. no offense, but it's not the biggest hurdle to jump. i used a hex bit for a screwdriver and shoved it in a small metric socket to attach to the torque wrench to bolt down the plenum pieces. plug your inlets with tp so you don't drop **** down in there.
