Brake question...

How tight should the brake pedal be? Mines doesnt pass the the gas pedal. But its smooth till it stops. No tightness. Did my wifes brakes today ,nice and tight.( Just the fronts) From beginning till it stops. I changed my rears on the max bleed them and bleed the fronts. Master cylinder not leaking. Is this good or bad?

As long as you're not sinking to the floor you're good. I did a complete job on my maxima, lines, pads, rotors, and pressure bled the system, it's with the car off, but the brake booster makes it feel smooth.

Im just trying to describe the distance the brake pedal goes down. When i look down its like right along side the gas pedal. I could actually put my foot under the brake pedal when im at a stop. Plenty of room. Not sinking.

Sounds almost like a lack of vacuum pressure from the booster...

Lo0oking in my chiltons trouble shooting brakes. excessive brake pressure considered a problem. But im thinking about what you said GREENMAX (pressure).I dont have decreasing pedal travel. just so smooth when i apply the brakes.
