this is a car i bought w/ a "dead" motor (92'se auto.gold practically free)turns out the left intake cam v.t.c.
end cap broke,fell down by left lower chain sprockett,busted out the chain cover,broke a small chunk of the left lower sprocket bolt hole,which moved chain causing 3 exhaust valves to break and one roller rocker to snap

i got lucky with a $100 spare motor that he said had bad rings
and swapped heads ,chains ,tensioners ,guides,injectors,lower intake,etc.
and now have a spare with one bad head and bad rings
so far running good got it thru emissions and transfered over to me

 

I ran your vin on nissan and it has (R5002 95V-244 J30/U12 CORROSION)recall. Need to take to dealer and have them take a look.

 

before i took it i looked behind the trunk walls around the seat belt mounts
and in the whell wells and under it looked all good
and since im keeping it i already cleaned behind the fuel neck cover
could there be other areas? did anything else come up? thanks

 

Thats all the recalls it has and you looked in all areas of concern. They will replace the fuel filler neck if I remember right. I have a copy of the recall at work I will look it over tomorrow.
