Saying good bye, another max RIP
Saying good bye, another max RIP

Shown is the death blow that killed my max
The Saturday before the last was the doom of my max. A middle aged woman T-boned me while I was going through an intersection. She had a stop sign and I was under a flashing green.
As rigid as the max, it didn't escape the fate of a total lost. The insurance didn't want to fix it, and paid me CDN$3000 for it. Last week they came and hauled it away. The night prior to that I spent its final hours with the max that transformed not only my expectation of cars, but my life.
Through thick and thin this max has been with me. It took me to places I couldn't go before, with each turn of the steering wheel it responded with quick and swift action. Its tires rolled along many miles of pavement in my service. Its engine breathed for my pleasure. It is now layed to rest.
Sorry for the long post, these are sad times indeed. I've already gotten another car, but it just doesn't feel the same. Thx for all the help from this community. I'll miss internetautomart for its one stop service to get most of the things i need for the max. And all others that had helped me along when problems cropped up on the max. Thx again.

I remember when my first max was totaled.
It really sucked. Its what really got me started working on cars though so its a double edge sword.
But Im about to put the engine out of that maxima into my current (3rd) maxima after I change the timing belt and water pump. So the heart of my first car lives on!

I too have found myself attached to my max. Always wanted one, especially in pearl, and when I finally found one (6 + years ago) as 2nd owner - I couldn't have been happier. I pamper mine now w/225k, and know she will soon need to retire.
sorry for the loss & bol w/the new wheels.
