Heater doesnt work

Heater doesnt work

Hey guys

The heater in my max doesnt work, only blows out cool air, i found this in my glove box and was told that it was something to do with the AC, i have no idea what it is or where it goes

Any help would be appreciated.

Awesome..

i think my unit is faulty (was in the glove box when i bought the car), now i can get a new one and install it and have heat.

Gotta love the maxima forums

Box of Mystery

The second, ivory colored box looks to me like the door lock sensor (correct nomenclature?). It's the switch in the door that connects to the door lock and button, that senses when you try to open or close the lock and sends a signal to the automatic door locks activator.

its one box, just diff shots of it, 1 side is black and the other is the pearl color

At least you can put yours onto heat mode, my manual climate control slider is stuck on teh cold side! So in winter i have to drive with 3 jackets on, n got my girlfriend sitting next to me with 2 blankets on! HaHaHa luckily im in Australia and we dont have really cold weather like you Americans

- 1 more question.. how do i get the unit out. i tried to do it and it wouldnt actually come forward.. it felt like it was stuck on something but i couldnt see any screws or anything that i missed, i dont have to take the whole dash out do i?

it comes out from the back or twisting out the front.
all I remember is that I had about half my dash apart when I did mine.
