exshaust question

ok so i have a pretty bad exshaust leak. now last time i got it fixed it cost me a little over 200 dollars just to get it fixed. i get get the warpseed y pipe and full exshaust for aorund 500 or so. but i am not really looking for to much performance. now if i install it all my self do you think it would be better to buy a whole new exshaust system? if so what other companies do you guys reccomend ect....

jack up the car and open the hood. look for the leak before you just start throwing money at things.

Yeah, diagnose the problem before you throw parts at it. Find a good shop to help you get an estimate(free). If you look around, you can find a cheap way out of this(i.e.I know a shop that did dual exhaust from the header on my rx-7 for $50). If it is the y-pipe, get a warpspeed and attempt it, but I would not get a catback system or anything pricey. It's probably just the y-pipe or exhaust studs.
