Sorry it is so dirty but it's easier that way because of the reflexions, and so..

Original

3 Options

It looks a lot like the 4th gen!

People have definitely done the first and third option, not so sure about the second. The guy selling his red 3rd gen (NJMax???) has a nicely shaved.......trunk.

3rd option looks nice. 2nd option is kinda tricky and i don't think no one has ever done it. only way u can do that i think is by installin' R33 tails with the center piece. which i still have to install on my '93.

I cant understand why this mod seems to be somewhat popular... I've personally always thought the original full reflector look adds more... hmmm, class? to the car, makes it look more refined and expensive looking? All down to different peoples taste i guess.

I'm partial to the first option...it keeps the definition of the center piece, but changes the car's character just enough to make those passing by take a second look.

No one takes a second look at a Maxima unless you paint it some obnoxious color or go ***** out like shavedmax.

Seen it done as well and I have the same opinion as #2 on it. Also lose the keyhole.

I have had my maxima for almost 6 years and cannot remember ever using the key to open the trunk...I always just use the popper on the door..

his work was done very clean and i think it looks really nice shaved completely. i dont think it can be done nice with the reflector still in there.

Honestly, I like the stock look of the SE Max. Some day I'll get around to adding the Stillen front but I think that's about all I'll add. There's just something about a non-spoiler Max that adds a blah factor. Doesn't "look" quick, no matter how much you make it quick. Guess that would be quite a surprise to some. heh

I thought the front angel eyes were a given
it's the rears that add the dash of class
