VG TB water rerouting.

I'm sitting here looking at my throttle body. Is it really neccesary for the TB to have water flowing through it? It looks like the water could actaully be heating it up. Is there any harm in eliminating the water through the tb?

If it gets very cold where you live, there's a chance the throttle plate could lock up. Being in Georgia you should be fine. I took mine off while I was in Indiana without any problems. It would have to get really cold to cause any problems.

what kind of "performance gains" are you expecting from removing the coolant supply to the tb?

What is involved exactly taking two hoses off and routing them in to each other with some kind of double sided barb then caping or calking the inlet and outlet ports on the throttle body....... Is that it ??

My intake and throttle body gets too hot to touch during the summer I think I would benifit for it to run cooler!! Cool air is better than hot right !!!

it's just as easy as it sounds. If you want to do it, then stop asking questions and go out there and do it.

It was late, and i was staring it it. I more or less wanted to know if i was going to have a problem. Consider it done.
