Distributor removal?

I'm trying to retighten the screws on my valve cover. One is hidden under the distributor body. I removed the timing adjustment screw to pull the distributor out just like you do on old american engines. The distributor will rotate but not pull out. I looked in the FSM and stickies for tips on how to remove it, but found nothing. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks.

You got to yank on them pretty hard sometimes...
