Ok, this may sound like a stupid question, but I've only owned a GXE and it's the only Maxima I've ever been in. So my question is this, is there a difference between the interiors of a GXE and an SE? I've been checking out "dash" kits and the ones I've found say 92-94 SE, so that's why I have the question.

well yes and no. The SEs have a little different seat and there are some other little things that are probably different (steering wheel on non airbag cars are different from SE and GXE) but the majority of the stuff is the same.

The 89-91 interior is different from the 92-94 though. The center part that surrounds the radio is different so you have to get the correct kit or change that piece out...other than that and seat pattern there isnt enough difference to worry about.
