Thank God BRAKES!!!
I noticed my brakes were working well the last week. My ebrake didnt work at all and I was like WTF. SO i brough it to my local shop where my friend works. They took apart my rear (drums) and found a leaking cylender. they replaced it and readjusted my breaks for 50$ and now i got nice sharp brakes again. YAY. Screw abs lock em up!

Brakes are my best friend when I'm driving... They've saved my **** so many times. Yesterday another car was driving parallel to me and decided to come over into my lane. If I didn't have the brakes that I have I would have been hit.

Speaking about brakes.. Ive always wanted to get some Brembo's or another brand thats painted Black instead of yellow or some crap.. Should I get drilled types only? I think slotted, or drilled and slotted would be overkill. And are they pretty much bolt-on? Ive heard of "brake kits". Would I need a stronger master cylinder or something? I never researched brakes.
:tinks a beer: Heres to knowledge.

any sort of rotor modification is pointless for street use and very likely DETRIMENTAL (sp?) to rotor life.

Just was interested in something that cools better than stock rotors. Perhaps it is detrimental. I assumed that better cooling would lead to slightly less expansion and contraction and less material loss on the pads. Depending on what the material is.. Insofar as I have read, there is no downside to having excellent cooling, even in low-speed or street use. I know ceramic pads have been around. But arent they toying or using already, the teflon-ceramic rotors and pads? Less dust also means less heat in and around the caliper/rotor assembly, no? Same reason why we blow out our PC cases when they get too dusty.

I have a nismo set. I payed like 35 dollars for them with 190 dollars on shipping from eBay. You need to start selling them. They feel like they glide when you push the brakes.

You should just be able to slap the new rotors on no problem after taking the caplipers off. What ever happened to just painting the calipers black so that the brake dust doesnt show? anything else is too ricey unless you have a show car
