electrical problem?

electrical problem?

i bought a maxima it was a white fang gauge cluster but, at night it the gauge lights flick on then turns off what should i do? and also the seatbelt sign flashes

You have a 95 maxima? that's 4th Gen.

But, anyways, you need to start tracing the wires from your cluster. There might be some loose or bad wiring back there.

RE: the seatbelt light, check the seatbelt "sensor" for the driver side. Brain fart makes me forget whether 4Gen are automatic seatbelts, but if it is, then your seatbelt track sensor could be going bad. NOTE: belt track sensor is not a REEEAL sensor name, all I know is that there must be a sensor there that senses when it is engaged and when it is released.

the 4ths do not have auto seatbelts, sadly that was only a curse/blessing to old maximas.
