Both my boots are ripped and the right one clicks bad when accelerating and turning. will these fit my 94 gxe sohc, no abs, no LS. (front)Cv Joints

Also I need a new battery mines died now well over 10 times. which is better red top or yellow top? or any other suggestions?

IMO you're better off with getting a reman axle. it's a lot less work messing with the clips and the boots and etc. a decent reman with a good warranty is like maybe close to that kit on ebay.

battery...red top is starting and yellow top is deep cycle. so if you don't run your battery down too often then i would get the red top.

What's just the outers going to do for you anyway? Battery? If it died that many times, I'd suspect a bad alty also

get a new axle, no point in screwing around with rebuilts.
you can get a complete axle for the price of those joints.

alright back with a red top. I have left my lights on and killed the battery so many times it took a 24 volt jump to start it. plus i have a 1000 watt draw stereo wise with no capacitor. lights dimmed slightly. as for whole axle. that site posted only has cv axles. ty for info

CV axle = complete axle.
CV stands for Constant Velocity

Right side

You get "experience" by doing the work yourself..

Dude those on ebay seem kinda pricey for just that, like Danny said get the whole assembly remanufactured, you're better off. You can probably get it from like Idiotzone or something with lifetime warranty in case you mess them up in the future. Or you can save money and get em from Brian, 57 bucks! Cant wrong with that! Plus you can pick them up from him personally in Chicago and I'll help you put em in so you can learn a thing or 2.

As for the battery question, get the red top its cheaper and pretty good. I got a Red75-35 which I believe is like 800cca (I think Maximas require minimum 525cca) or something like that and I also have an Amp with subwoofers and I've left my car off for over 5 hours blasting music and it turns on like nothing but then again my alternator is brand new. If yours is bad just get one from Brian and we'll put it on too lol

Seriously get the axles from Brian. I ordered mine from him on a Thurday night, and they were here by the following Wednesday and considering the fact that NOBODY has new VE axles I was upprised it got here as soon as it did. Also Don't forget to do your axle seals too.

Am I the only one who thinks he got lucky jumping a 12v system with a 24v source. That's definately something you don't want to do twice. Since you openly admitted to leaving your lights on many times in the past, hopefully this habit has changed because your red top is not a deep cycle and you'll be complaining about Optima the same way you did about Die Hard.

i doubt it's 24V..it's probably 12V with EXTRA CCA.

for him to jump with 24V you would need to go + to - from the two batteries and pull one + from one battery and pull - from the other battery...no offense to him but i highly doubt he was going to do all that to jump the car.

IMO the weakest link is the jumper cables when you're jumping a battery.

My thought was maybe he was using a battery charger that has the capability to jump 24v. We have battery chargers at work that can put out 24v, 18v, 12v and 6v all in one single unit.

I also never knew CV joint ends can be purchased like this.
