Hmm looks like you did a good job. I wanna do the same to the brackets..alhough I think I'll need new headlamps if I'm keeping my stock ones cuz I cant adjust/aim them at all and the left is aiming higher than the right one. how much did you get your e36s for?
Not sure why you keep saying FLUSH because unless you use the Wade/GTS covers (or the glass off the new clear headlights) they will not be flush because the Maxima hood is rounded and the E36 lights are straight. Now you may have done that and I have just missed where you posted it.
also if you use the covers you will not have to grind the grille.
So far it doesnt really look any different than all the other installs except you took your time and painted everything which I applaud you for.

i got the lights at a junkyard believe it or not for $40 + 5 for the wires... (wtf) lol
well i, yes i did notice that they werent curved but i DEFF tried to make them inside the engine bay as much as possible i think they look nice
all i have to do is make the brackets so they dont bounce around
and thank you very much micheal
that actually meant a lot to me coming from you (your vavle cover = SAWEET)

I def like the e36 on our maximas but not diggin the flat look since our original headlamps are curved. If I were to do the conversion I'd probably try to get the ones that are like the stock lens
i first started working on my driver side grinding and fitting -got that done- over a couple days period
then i got to the passenger side, this took only 2 days but the first time i worked on this side was at night (i work all day dreaming about working on my car
)
yadda yadda got done grinding, put the OEM back in
*crack, crack, griiiiind* lol WTH!!!

13 years old it happens but it happened at night lol
i had no lighting on the road
also... my foglights dont work anymore, its killing me

in my opinion they look like crap until they are flush (really flush) and your corner lights match your headlights.....

lol to all there own likings plus umm our cars do have spoilers on them already for those dat have the se package most the se's come with the factory foam spoiler so what difference is it between that and having a different type of spoiler. like i said to all there own tastes and likes.
lol, i think i would like my car without the wing, but i dont REALLY have to have the 3rd light do it? i heard its illegal to no have one
i COULD take the GXE one and make it fit probably ill look into it later

Some of us with SE's put the spoilerless GXE trunk lid on.
Seems like us 'older' guys like the clean, spoilerless look - while the younger gen still prefers a spoiler? (like I did when I was younger too - but never a huge aluminum one...

Exactly...like I have said a million times...do what you like and forget about everyone else. My cars have had the spoilers and I have taken them off because I dont like them. Well let me rephrase that...I dont like them with a lowered/kitted max which is what I have had. I do like the factory spoiler on more factory looking Maximas but I just dont like how the spoiler looks with the kit.

I was just kidding when I mentioned the spoiler, I come back a day later and everything is picking on him for the spoiler...I didnt mean for that to happen bro. Like Michael said and I agree you always do what YOU like not what others like unless you worry about what people think.

... what do the corners have to do with it fitting?...
