Hmm looks like you did a good job. I wanna do the same to the brackets..alhough I think I'll need new headlamps if I'm keeping my stock ones cuz I cant adjust/aim them at all and the left is aiming higher than the right one. how much did you get your e36s for?

Not sure why you keep saying FLUSH because unless you use the Wade/GTS covers (or the glass off the new clear headlights) they will not be flush because the Maxima hood is rounded and the E36 lights are straight. Now you may have done that and I have just missed where you posted it.

also if you use the covers you will not have to grind the grille.

So far it doesnt really look any different than all the other installs except you took your time and painted everything which I applaud you for.

all i have to do is make the brackets so they dont bounce around

I def like the e36 on our maximas but not diggin the flat look since our original headlamps are curved. If I were to do the conversion I'd probably try to get the ones that are like the stock lens

Why did you choose to have the inside edge of the lights protrude past the surface of the grill?
Nice job on the grinding and painting.

there was a guy on here that did that but I cant remember his name. Then again it may not have been an R34...personally I will not like it but I dont like spoilers of any kind on 3rd gens...but its just my opinion.

Some of us with SE's put the spoilerless GXE trunk lid on.
Seems like us 'older' guys like the clean, spoilerless look - while the younger gen still prefers a spoiler? (like I did when I was younger too - but never a huge aluminum one... )

Exactly...like I have said a million times...do what you like and forget about everyone else. My cars have had the spoilers and I have taken them off because I dont like them. Well let me rephrase that...I dont like them with a lowered/kitted max which is what I have had. I do like the factory spoiler on more factory looking Maximas but I just dont like how the spoiler looks with the kit.

that is what I did on my old 92. its not hard at all to do...just get the bracket and light assy and put it back there. You do have to either cut your shelf or get the shelf from the GXE.

I was just kidding when I mentioned the spoiler, I come back a day later and everything is picking on him for the spoiler...I didnt mean for that to happen bro. Like Michael said and I agree you always do what YOU like not what others like unless you worry about what people think.
