weird putting...

I noticed when I accelerate from a dead stop it sputters badly. and feels like my car is going to stall out. once it rev's up 300 rpms from 700-1000 its smooth again. and almost feels like I get a slight boost of power around 3000rpms. any ideas? It's not injecters all those have been tested. and I checked all vac lines to see if there was a leak but couldnt find one. please help.

check your coolant temperature sensor, it may be sending the "cold" signal instead of the "warmed up" signal which would make the car run rich and like crap too.

exhaust system checked out. I noticed that my coolent in the holding tank was really dirty with **** floating around in it. so I took it out cleaned the inside good put in 50 50 mixture up to the level that was there and my car ran much smoother. i also checked the tube from the tank to radiator to make sure there weren't any pinchs. car ran great warm and cold for about 3-4 hours then it has a slight put again. and now its dirty once again. So I am going to flush the whole system and try that. thanx for the advice I would of never guessed...

A dirty coolant system has NOTHING to do with the engine performance, unless it's overheating..It's only purpose is to keep the enigine cool, dirty coolant will still cool the engine, but will eventually rust/rot the cooling system out...

Look elsewhere for the putting/sputtering problem....Or maybe read some of the posts in this thread...

You know what, now that you mentioned that you washed your engine bay, I washed my engine once and it was putputting and losing power and it I just adjusted the IACV and it worked fine again..before that the car nearly stalled and everything
