But why??
4x6 speaker size is a bit odd
you can fit some 6.5" in there wilth james92se's speaker pods or even make you own (james' look better)

though this did get me thinking that I may have to angle my speakers a bit, I'm not too thrilled with their current output

Just want to keep everything simple. I hate modifying sound system stuff, thanks for the feedback. I will find some top of the line 4x6's and install them when I get the chance too..

Please buy a set of aftermarket pods (they sell them on ebay, IIRC) and some 6.5" speakers. 4x6 speakers are tiny and sound like crap. you will be MUCH happier if you go with a decent sized speaker.

I would listen to Matt and Brian

I highly recommend you put in something other than 4x6s.

You are already going to have to pull out a bunch of Bose stuff, anyway, you might as well do things right.

If you put in pods for 6.5s, even if you buy low end ones now, that give you the ability to move up to seperates later.

There seems to be quite a bit of room in mine. I bought the pods from James92SE. I think they are around $35 shipped (don't quote me on that).

I have some Diamond Audio M3 6.5s and they fit no problem.
