Just picked up my '89 se and all my windows DO NOT work, I think the back ones need the motor and front ones definetly need regulators. I havent opened up the door panels to see how bad the wires/cables are and dont know weather to try to repair the existing regulators or:
A) go to my local junkyard and get ones out of an old max.
b) get spankin brand new ones from nissan.
the thing is I would hate to open up the door panels and not be able to do anything with whats there. based on all of your experiences what do you suggest I should do?

i would get brand new ones from a dealer...regulators are prone to go so there's no reason to pull one off a junked car to have it go a few months down the line and you're back in the same boat...

call courtesy nissan 1-800-527-1909...prices are cheaper than most dealers...
