Took a Drive Today...

We're having some crazy warm weather in Michigan right now! This time last year I was snowmobiling. It's sunny and 45 degrees right now complete with dry roads. It's been about a month since I drove the Max and I just got back from a rather lengthy, spirited drive. Just 2 complaints: There is an absolutely GROSS amount of dried salt on the road, so much to the point where the pavement is white. Second: now I want a brake upgrade and swaybars more than ever! Well, I'm guessing this will be the last time I drive it until Spring, but who knows with global warming!

And the point of this story is: driving a nicely modded Max on dry, non-slippery roads when you are used to driving a Buick Century is enough to make you smile and remember why you love Maximas in the first place! Good Day...

Driving it in cold weather doesn't bother me...what does is the slushy salt bath that eats at everything, the cold wet carpet, and the steep slippery hills laden with retarded Yoopers in rusty plow trucks! My theory: I can avoid bad drivers on dry or even wet pavement, but not when everybody is sliding. It adds up...I had a $500 Cherokee last year and was hit head-on. Better a rusty Jeep than my Max.
