Sure the platform is questionable but that is a LOT of fun for a very low price! It has stickers for brembo, eibach, etc... I would imagine looking as serious as it does that it has quite a few of those quality race parts. Thats a flippen steal if you ask me, just to have fun with.

If you wanted to race, IMO, the shell would be worth it. It looks like a pretty done deal already (minus the engine).

You could find an OK VG, swap the good parts and maybe even go turbo...hehe

you wouldn't be able to go turbo in a real race class.

that's actually a pretty well set up car from what I've seen. I almost bought it about a year ago when it was on ebay... it was in Florida or Atlanta or something down in the SE last time I saw it for sale...
evidently these guys bought it and treaded it like crap...

the cam gear going is just "**** happens", but due to the dirt and everythine else inside the car, I'd be wary of the current owners.

Then again.. for $1000, that's a CHEAP start. the roll cage and install alone will cost that much. I seriously thought about buying it.

"adjustable coilover front with eibach springs"

Thought they didn't make coilovers for our cars...

I noticed in all his engine pics he has gotten rid of the PCV hoses and replaced them with little breathers what is the advantage of this set up Vs. Stock? O and those spark plug wires are tremendous are they homemade ?

The spark plug wires are Nology "Hot Wires". They are about $200.

I hear what you are saying Matt, the parts alone are worth the asking price, but it does look like the current owner just bought it and abused it.

Exactly. but again, anything that can be abused on the car can be repaired. Assuming the chassis is straight, everything else is easy.
engines and trannies are easily replaceable in a race car.
hell, they're easy enough on these cars stock.. last time I pulled mine, I had it out of the car in 2.5 hours.
