i tried doing this, but the green wire for the left turn blinker is too short to reach the other bulb's spot. (the other side was fine) i tried to see if i could add a longer wire to the end of it but couldn't see how i would do that, so could i cut the wire in the middle, and add more in between and then just tape it up with electrical tape or something?

that would work fine, soldering the connection would be better though just to make sure its a solid connection and isn't gonna come apart. If it did come apart, it could lose power to your outer brake light or ground itself on some metal and blow a fuse; not a big deal, but a little bit of a pain.

wire nuts would work well too if you're not into soldering stuff

also, anyone else notice how similar Blake's site is to mine? I just find it odd that he has some of the same pics on there. Oh well
