Ok, if I have to replace the radiator, what is the best option?

1) Dealer: with Max.org discount $374.27 (without shipping)
2) Track Auto (Modine) brand $256.00
3) Junkyard (with 116,000 miles) for $125.00

I've been told that used is not the way to go..., just wanted to make sure that aftermarket is quality of standard or OEM.

Hmm I wouldn't go used as you say.

I think if you go w/ a quality aftermarket manufacturer, you should be just fine. I believe Modine makes quality stuff. I believe the OEM maker for Nissan radiators is Calsonic. But I very much doubt you will be able to find this maker in the USA.

radiators r not created equal

the factory calsonic radiator the tops r plastic and the core is aluminum.... and the modeine is all copper that why there is a difference in price as for only thing is aluminum doesnt rust so if u go with the modeine u have to use a quality radiator fluid

Thanks fellas for the info...
Now as far as quality radiator fluid? Brands like Prestone, etc. should be fine right?

Also, are there any bolts at the bottom of the radiator to be able to pull it out? Do I have to just push back the fans after unbolting, or do I need to unbolt and remove the fans after I pull the radiator up?

Re: radiators r not created equal

Actually I haven't seen an all copper radiator. The thing about using plastic endtanks is that makes them unrepairable. Personally I would rather have brass endtanks and an aluminum cores.

Yeah I agree, the plastic on the OEM is probably what is making it leak... I shouldn't have any problems out of the new one right?

Also any tricks to removing the radiator that anyone knows of? Or is it just straight unbolting...
