Power Steering Pressure Hose

Well, it's my turn to now replace the Power Steering Pressure Hose. I've never done any steering work before. I know I remove the banjo bolts with the 24mm wrench, but I'm not sure about the procedure after removal.....

Do I install the new hose, then follow a particular air-bleeding process for the steering? If so, how do I bleed and know when air is gone?

Do I buy new copper washers too from the stealership?

I'm a n00b for tonight. Thanks in advance.

why dealer for copper washer? just go to HD, lowes, Autozone, or Napa for that kinda parts. It's a lot cheaper and easily obtained. Just take it out, go to one of the stores and measure it.

btw, do you know how much torque (ft.lb) for that 24mm banjo bolt? Damn, I can't find that stupid number anywhere. The FSM doesn't have it either.

ah there it is, thanks Green. I got a new pump, it comes with one washer and one o-ring. Where does the o-ring goes? I'd thought we use 2 washers for the hose connection.
