Northeast Ice Storm [Pics of Ice Covered Max]

Terrible weather that postponed my ski plans until next week. Took some pics of the AIP encased in ice.

It's hard to really tell how much ice is on there cuz the antenna looks a lot thicker than it really is. The antennas bent back for extra speed

That dent in the ice is from where a branch fell on my car I just hope the hood isn't dented.

And some trees covered in ice.

It was probably worse for you guys. I remember I drove out towards your area a few years back(pretty far, don't know how it's still called NY) and over here was just cold, but out there it was mountains of snow and frozen rivers.

That's not an ice storm—this is an ice storm.

Wow, thats like those crab fishing boats off Newfoundland. The ice will preserve the vehicles for centuries. If you think your car is dead, put it in the freezer, someone somewhere sometime will restore it.

yeah, those are real. real bad windstorm some place right on the shoreline. like 60+mph winds as well. so everything near the coast got blasted with freezing seawater (note the angle of all the icecicles on the trees)

Whoa, I've never seen anything like that before. I guess being stuck in traffic really isn't an option there.

It wasn't seawater, it's fresh water: Lake Léman in Switzerland. I don't think it's a common occurrence there, at least not as bad as that.

You got me - thats an ice storm. My hood is dent free, but the bumpers are still encased in ice for extra protection on these slippery roads. And my Max is still leaking some rainbow substance slowly but surely.

At first I wasn't too concerned but it's continued for a while now, once I can get the hood open I'll check the vitals. Any common problems for near the front passenger wheel?

Power steering fluid and coolant reservoirs are both on the passenger side...better look into it.
