pulsating question

for a long time has most of the stud on the exhaust manifold busted and a small head gasket leak so i attributed many things to that however i have just had the heads redone with new seals and new studs and timing belt while at it old one had about 80 k so figured save me a few bucks down the road.
I'll explain my mods in case it may help
Have CAI, upgrade Y-pipe 2.5 mid pipe, upgraded cat and matrix muffler (came on car).

it did it before and still does now. if i am heading down hill and let off the gas when it drops to 1500 RPMs it pulsates slowly a little up to maybe 1650 RPMs and just keeps doing it over and over again in a slow relaxing kind of way. now it only does it when it hits the 1500 mark and not before. now i think my timing may be hair off just cause at idle it seems like it misses a hair off and on in no specific order or time mostly when it is cold and after it warms up not as noticeable. now the guy that did the heads said that the cylinders look real good and not to worry about them for a while. he said that he soaked the injectors and replaced the seals on them and replaced a BUNCH of vacuum lines that were split. now the heads were machined if that makes a difference for this situation. now am i being to protective with my baby or maybe something i should look into? any info would be appreciated

Well, um, erm, hate to say this, but i'm jackin yer thread. I don't post too much on here, so I don't have the priv. of starting my own thread. Sorry, but it's something I hope the experts here could possibly answer.

I have this weird *** problem thats been going on with my cars electrical system. When I press on the gas from a stoplight, it goes as it normally should. But, if I press on it too hard - say I take it over 3k RPMs - really funky stuff starts going on.

For example -

The insturment panel goes REALLY bright.
The headlights get REALLY bright.
The hvac fans? They start going really fast.
Radio? Dunno. Hasn't worked in a while anyway.

Could anybody give me an idea as to WTF is going on? I've done this so far:

Replaced the 6 yr old interstate with a new battery.
Cleaned the terminals while I was at it too - some deposits were going on there.

If anybody could point me in the right direction, that would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I'll bet your voltage regulator is fried.
time for a new alternator.

Check the coolant sensor and the connector isn't all corroded up. My max surges from 1000-1500rpm all the time and theres either an air pocket in the coolant system or the connection is bad.

So the alternator is the culprit possibly? Great, I'll have it checked again.
