I've always been a fan of bronze, and black rims on a black car seems kinda played out. btw DIBS ON THE 5TH GEN WHEELS!

Sportmax 009, those look the best and even better-they're light weight!

#4 If you got the dough and willing. They're real hot.

#2 would be my second. If you like those in gold. There is a set being sold local to me but they're real big http://www.importatlanta.com/forums/...d.php?t=108322.

If want to go baller and do some body work.... But they won't fit without work.

3 and/or 4

5 spokes are worn out
and gold (bronze what ever) i think will stand out WAY too much

thats my opinion i have 5 spoke and gunmetal, i like them but too cliche now
i would get the 7 spoke, they are SAWEET!

Even though 5 stars are plain jane I'd think the 962's would look best on a whitey. But these would be my first choice.

Motegi FF6

I've always liked these rims. Never really been a fan of the spoked skinny rims- it seems like every Honda has those. The Maxima seems like it needs a beefier looking sport rim to fit its 4 door sports car styling and to me this is the perfect look. Plus it is somewhat unique when considering there 1000's of spokes out there. But it probably weighs too much, and I don't even know if these are still made.

Sweet. Thanks guys. This definitely helped me narrow down my choices. It's still going to be a hard decision between 1 and 3 because i can get those locally and i know someone who can get me a deal. So to make sure, im going to need a 17x7 with a +40 offset, and does a 225/50 tire sound okay?

If you can find it, they will look better with a little more offset, like +35ish.

I had two different sets of 17s, one a +40 and the other a +42 and I thought they looked a bit too "tucked in" with 17x7. I put 5mm spacers on the back to help it look better.

The best tire sizes are:

215/50/17 - 0.1% off stock (~same diameter)
235/45/17 - 0.6% off stock (.2 inches smaller diameter)
^^I think this is probably the best and most commonly used size for 3rd gens with 17s.

The one you selected is pretty close, though...

225/50/17 + 1.4 % off stock (.4 inches bigger diameter)
225/45/17 - 2.0% off stock (.5 inches smaller diameter)
^^I used this size on mine because it was about $25 cheaper per tire. They had that size on sale, apparently.

Bla no likey universal fit rims! ugly extra holes on wheel FTL. black rims/black car= semen explotion. black car/5 spokes = more semen explotion.

Let me ask you something, which ones are you kind of leaning towards the most?

Thanks Cliff for the info. It's much appreciated.

Colombian, the extra holes reduce weight . But the ones I'm leaning towards the most are the 009(#3) and the 962(#1). I photoshopped both on my car and I still cant decide lol

Hey I'm gonna have to agree with you on the rim choice..if only they didnt have those weight reducing "speed" holes I'd really like em. I'm kinda leaning towards #1 in about 17 or 18 inches, although 17 would probably be the closer and best fit of the 2

Both look good, but the rims in the bottom pic are lighter, so go with those.

normally I am a 5 spoke person but I dont like fat 5 spokes like that so IMO go with the others or the lightest of them.

I like the top one's in my opinion. But I like the Motegi FF6's the best though. 6 Spoke FTW.
