right now im sitting here debating what i should do next for a mod..so far all i have is a pr cold air intake and im not sure if i should first finish helping my car breath easier with a cat back exhaust and y pipe or move onto somethin else. the reason why i want a cat back exhaust is the idiot that had the car before me welded pieces of piping together to make the exhaust and it can only hold up for so long before it starts falling apart...anyways im not sure if i should do the catback next wih a nice y pipe...or move onto springs, struts and wheels or go onto somethin else like rotors and different pads? any input would be greatly appreciated..or if you have any other ideas for otehr mods that would be great

If you haven't already done this I would do a total suspension upgrade, struts/springs/sway bars/etc. This may not be the cheapest mod out there but it definately the most bang for the buck. The stock Max susp sucks, even the SE models. There nothing like a car with a firm/stable suspension, and you will definately feel a difference. If you're into stop light to stop light performance then all the usual intake/exhaust mods will satisfy your desire, but the susp mods does more for your driving than int/ext mods

What is the best suspension to buy? What brand? And how much does it usually cost for everything? Can you break the prices down? I really want to get new suspension. And besides making the ride better does it improve anything else?

I think that the suspension is the most bang for the buck. Out of all the mods that I have done, this is the one that I am most happy with. Little things like the FSTB help a lot. Sways are another good option. The only prob is that they mess up the mounts. Another thing is a good combo of Eibach & Tokico. I paid a good price for mine and that is the best money I have spent on the car. Well--except for maybe my Cone filter, magnetic gas line atomizer thingy, and Tornado Air induction thing.

the Y-pipe is the most restrictive part of the entire exhaust system that can be replaced easily. buy your favorite brand *cough cough cattman*, and swap it in. Later compliment that increase with a custom one piece 2.25" catback or 2.5" into a 2000 SE muffler or a REMUS. Don't forget the carsound highflow cat too.
