Ok guys i just read some 1/4 mile times and most stock VG auto did the same time as mine 5 speed, with few mods. No the thing I have noticed is acceleration is not as responsive as it use to be and funny noise exhaust sound. I cleaned the fuel injector and i think the car is even slower now. I use to do 7.8 0-60 and thats when it was stock. Now its 8.2. Im thinking maybe something is wrong with a throtle body or and I havent cleaned my Intake it looks very dirty (Stillen Cone Air) I doubt that is the problem. But simply my car doesnt accelerate as fast as it did before. Any suggestions.

your saying your 0-60mph time?? or 60 ft????..
IF it was 0-60 how did you get that? Don't quote me on this but i don't think most tracks can measure 0-60 time. If you had someway to measure your 0-60mph time, where the conditions the same as before (ie temp, baro)

G-tech , was the measure both times, Last time I measured 0-60 which 7.8 just with a muffler, Now its 8.2 with straight pipe, Cone Air Intake, Short Shifter. I mean at least it should be the same not slower. And I even feel thats it getting slower.

well the straight pipe could be one of the problems, you loose a ton of low-end power when going with the straight pipe. there's just simply not enough backpressure. and of course the clogged filter could be a problem as well. and lastly, the g-tech isnt the best way to measure it. especially if the conditions werent exactly the same.

Turbo is another 2-3 month, but in a mean time im eberrassed to drive my car its mad slow. Im going to clean the INtake take it to the track see what I do, If its slower then ill put back the cat converter. If its still the same then ill just cry and wait 2 month for turbo and put it in chains and keep it in a garage. Take my dads car.
But on a serious note, Do u think it could be something with the Manifold or throtle body?

I'm with James on this......

I bet its the straight pipe, maybe it took time for the ECU to adjust to it and when it finally did, you got screwed in the end! I bet when you take off the straight pipe you'll get the necessary low end back, and cleaning the TB doesn't hurt, I'm doing mine this week, hopefully will solve my slight hesitation prob!

Hey Chris, think it could be the "salad bar"?

A dirty throttle body may cause a rough idle, also my car revs a little more free since my throttle body was cleaned.
Hey, I don't know what I am talking about on this, but what about the exhaust studs? Do they cause a power loss? It's pretty common problem right? I know there is noise, but do they affect performance?
U got no cat? That's why your car is so loud probably, plus your muffler is HUUUUUUUUGEEEEEE, put the cat back on man, and try it then... I know good flow is good, but too much is not...

Im not much of a g-tech fan, they have a habit of being close to accurate but not exactly, go to a real track and get your times, 7.8 seems pretty generous for a VG, i think that these time differences are nothing more then the g-tech itself
