I decided to try somthing with an extra 92se 5bar grill laying around, i dont really like the stock grill how it is, so i busted out the dremel and some sand paper.


Guess it looks alot like the old 3bar but they are thinner

you going to put something behind it like mesh?... or repaint it and keep it like that...

Going to primer and paint i was thinkin black or sumthing,not sure on mesh sounds like a good idea though, i will probly go look for some mesh somtime this week, not sure where though.

 

I think you should
Break all the dremel, smooth everything out and paint it with primer black. then put the mesh in the back of the grill. that’s if you have time to do all that!

 

Never thought doing such thing but I'm gonna have to visualize removing all bars and just leaving mesh on there..doubt it'll with your car color but on a diff color it should be nice

 

well the old style grille just had one bar, and the frame.


i kinda want to rebadge that with a Nissan logo and remove the word. Kinda like a post-facelift 4th gen non-SE, cuz the SE had painted grilles just like the 3rd gen SE

edit: nevermind. tried it in Paint. looks ridiculous. the grille would need to be angular, the straight lines just make it look goofy on a grille this shape.
