Will A pathfinder VG30E work in my Max??

I recently got a '90 Maxima SE with a seized engine, and i found a VG30E out of a pathfinder in a local scrapyard...What kind of modification (if any) do I have to do to make this work in my Max???

Why not just get one out of a maxima?

http://www.mjautosalvagetn.com/

The above salvage yard is not far from you in chattanooga, according to their website they have about 12 maximas with assorted mileage, for $400 each..

I live pretty close to you also[crossville],so if you need a engine installer, let me know..

I believe the pathfinder is was a 90+...and the reason I want this engine is because I can get it for $100...So will it work??? And if it will what do I have to switch over from the old engine to the new one??

If it's 90-94 I think it should work... I'm just wondering about the ECU.

Listen to GreenMax and just go get one out of a maxima. Probably save you alot of trouble. I'm assuming it would be around the same price would it not?

my main concern would be that the Pathfinder is RWD and the Maxima is FWD. That means all the accessories are on the front instead of the side and possible many other things could be different; fuel lines; how the transmission bolts up, etc.

I think you would have to swap a lot of stuff. The intake manifold and a lot of other stuff is set up differently. The TB is different, too. I am not sure how the heads differ, either. I can't recall anyone trying to do this.
