what type of car alarms do you all have?

However, I remembering seeing a car made by BMW about 7 years ago for the African market. Apparently carjacking was a big problem, so they they fitted one of their cars with flame throwers on either side of the car, activated by a button on the floor with your foot. (Fueled by a propane tank in your trunk) This would make an excellent addition to a car alarm, just make sure to park away from other cars! Alas, America, where the criminals have rights.....
Back OT, I have a Crimestopper RS900 or something, which I've had for many years and had zero problems. I believe it was Craig Brace who did a write up for the remote start on 5-speeds, which has serverd me well. They remote unlock is by far my favorite function of the system, as it saves me from trying to open my frozen locks in the winter. Of course, the remote start always impresses people who know I have a manual.
